Make Oil Sampling Easier

When labeling oil sample bottles prior to taking samples, consider identifying the bottle caps as well as the labels. A felt-tip pen works well. This will save a lot of time, as you will not have to pick up each bottle to tell which one you need next. (Craig Palculict, Georgia-Pacific)

How to Remove Varnish from Turbines
The mitigation of varnish-related problems in turbine lubrication and hydraulic control systems requires not only cleaning up the varnish precursors from the fluid and the soluble deposits from the wetted surfaces, but also controlling their formation. Absorptive filter technology is engineered to remove the polar varnish precursors and has proven to be effective in the removal of the varnish material from turbine lubrication systems.

Change is easy; you just stop doing what you have been and do something different. What is difficult is the people's transition from what was to what is, and this is the part that needs to be managed closely.
